Hi there, does anyone know of a good budget hotel in Paris, doesn't need to be right in the centre but on the metro. Which areas are nice to stay in?

I'd recommend doing a search on venere.com - really helpful website with lots of good maps/reviews, and reasonable prices too (which you also don't have to pay in advance)
PM me if you want a 4% discount code.
I think it's a good idea to check out this website even if you find hotels cheaper elsewhere, as the descriptions and maps are generally better than other sites in my opinion.
Hope that helps
PS - I'm not connected to this website in any way, and I don't gain anything from this post. I also found the discount code on another forum.0 -
Hiya...
Check out the Accor hotels (They run the Formule 1,Etap,Ibis, Novotel etc..) http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/reservation/hotel-paris.shtml
What's cool about that page is that it shows you what hotels are where..in different parts of Paris

I stayed at this one last year which was reasonably priced and quite near to everything you see on a sightseeing tour:

Stayed at this hotel for Hubby's 50th in Feb this year. Nice and close to Eiffel Tower and Metro Station nearby. Booked it through Venere website.
Have a great time!:T

I always stay in an Ibis (mentioned above). Cheap, good rooms and very decent breakfasts.
The one I've started using most in is Bastille. 100m from a metro station and there's a nice bakery over the road too.My eyes! The goggles do nothing!0 -
SubwayHotels.com is great for finding and booking hotels in Berlin, Madrid and Paris - it shows hotels near metro stations on a google map and price compares 6 hotel websites to find the best prices.0
