Gas engineer condemned my boiler

I have had an engineer come and look at the boiler, the pilot light had a large yellow flame.He said the boiler is faulty, needs a new gas valve and these are not available, so he wanted to fit a complete new system for a modern boiler. .Its a Gloworm and apart from the pilot light it works reliably and has done for years…

The pilot may just be partially blocked up. Were they guys who looked at it independents and where did you get them from?

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
