Excel parking and BW legal

Hi all, first time posting, I have tried to read and understand all the other posts and newbie info. Hoping to get some advice as there is so much information on the interweb it can be hard to find what is relevant to my case. I have in the past had parking charge notices and at the advice of friends backed up with some web info, just ignored them and they have gone away. This one hasn't, I have been served by Northampton and also just been through the mediation phone call,.BW legal refused my offer of a reasonable £1.50 during mediation and insisted £200. I asked if they had any evidence, they stated they have a photo of me parked blocking a throughway (a compele lie), however the original PCN stated I had been observed leaving the car park. Car park is free for 4 hours if using the leisure facilities, I was parked for less than an hour in a correct bay and using the facilities to buy coffee and food. After I stated my case during mediation I was told that if I provided the receipt they would reduce the cost to £100, I refused this on the basis that I am confident they have little to no evidence if they are willing to reduce so quickly.
I wish I had stumbled across some of these threads before however as now I'm not sure I have everything I need to proceed to the court stage.
How much can I disclose on this thread? Can anything I mention be used by BW legal/excel in court?

Many thanks in advance for any assistance

We don't recommend trying mediation at all. Never mind.

Everything except who was driving, if that's been kept quiet then let it remain so on this thread too. Theoretically a firm could use it in court but BW file robo-claims with no scrutiny at all. They have no details of cases to speak of, so they would not have the foggiest clue which case yours is. Excel might do but are filing so many claims via BW Legal right now, it is less likely than when they tried the odd one.

And they (BW Legal) do not appear in court. If a hearing occurs, Excel use a legal rep.

Have you read bargepole's updated summary for court cases, to know what's what? When do you have to get your Witness Statement and evidence in to your opponent and the local court?

What did your defence say, exactly? I hope the driver has never been admitted, because they can't hold a keeper liable.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
