My cousin is on ESA is in the Support Group, Income Based. His partner has been lucky enough to find work thirty hours a week, she starts Monday, he is going to ring the Jobcentre tomorrow, my question is will his claim close or will he continue to get his NI credit, and no benefit paid because of her work or will his claim close down and go dormant. Thanks in advance. He panics over these things so am trying to give him the heads up what to expect

as long as he still meets the ESA criteria, his claim will remain open but he will only receive NI credits.
he will still need to be reassessed and attend any medicals0
