Problem with Coop account

Don't know if anyone can help with this.
I have a manual payment set up from my Coop account to a credit card so I can make manual payments. A couple of days ago I tried to send £100 but I got an error message saying there was a problem with the transaction and to resend. I checked my account, but no money had been taken (I have done this loads of times and it shows up immediately). I resent the £100, checked my account and 2 payments of £100 had been taken
I contacted the bank and explained and asked if the second payment could be refunded as it was their error. They won't do this though and I will need to contact the credit card company to try and get the money back. My experience of this is that is very unlikely to happen
Do I have any rights here or do I have to grin and bear it?
Thanks

Hmmmm......can't you just spend £100 on the card, using it for things you would have used your bank account for? You don't say whether the extra £100 put you into overdraft territory.I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0

Can you ask the credit card company to refund to your current account?
Missed on first read, what you'd said about this but it's the first and possibly best course of action .0 -
I am pleased to report that after making a polite but very firm protest the bank have refunded me the £100:D0
