Asbestos Removal

hi,


I have whit asbestos under kitchen tiles in bathroom, toilet, and old kitchen. We are in the process of refurbishing those areas and i have a question whether I should remove them or just keep them as they are and put self levelling on top which is needed anyway. any advice is appreciated.

To be honest, I would just level over them. Floor tiles have next to no risk of fibre release and you would be looked at approx £10 sqm min removal charge from a removal company

As the OP was already in the process of refurbishing the floor when they asked their question about 3 and a half months ago, there's a good chance that they have finished by now.

Yes, but poster #3 is from Toronto - they are fairly laid back over there I believe!!
