IMHO Nationwide's customer service is not as good as FDs but you can do the vast majority of things for yourself over the www.
I switched to NW cos they have a better e-saver (even after they are now launching a new account) and they do not charge commission on overseas transactions.God save the King!
I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -
Hi
I have a firstdirect bank account got a letter in to say that to keep my £500 overdraft their will be an anual arrangement fee of £25 to pay for the new facility This is because in july I was overdrawn for one day, which I was charged £25, so because of this one mistake over the year it is going to cost me £50. Is this the same with all banks.
