Seems to be a common issue searching on the internet? Unable to switch WIFI on I think due to a recent W10 update.
Anyone aware of a fix that works?

All the ones so far haven't worked. Ethernet will work.
Lap top is a toshiba satellite a660.0 -

The model is an a660-1H6 had no problems until recently so assuming it maybe a w10 update. The keyboard switch to turn on wifi doesn't turn it on.0

been a very common problem with W10, especially on older hardware....it may be (temporarily) fixable, but I wouldn't hold your breath for a long-term solution whilst running W10 ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
switch it on in device manager - could just be toshiba keyboard functions that have been messed upMr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0

Think probably easier to just buy a USB wifi adapter and run the wifi through that.0

this may work for a while, if you get the right one...
Unfortunately people have been experiencing similar problems with wifi dongles as with the onboard cards..MS have really screwed up with W10 in this and the sound driver departments ......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......

Tried all the 'fixes' online which all seem to be a waste of time and don't work.
What are the options?
Buy a wifi USB adapter-surely this will work?
Revert to Windows 8? How do I do this if this is best option?0
