Hello my situation is as such, I'm a lone parent disabled currently get PIP enhanced care & standard mobility until 2020, ESA I'm in the WRAG but currently going through the process to go into the support group, also get child tax creds, HB, CB..enhanced disability premium..
My daughter is currently sectioned and has just been diagnosed as having Asperger's..she will be 18 on jan 4th..we are all hoping she can return home once she's completed an ASD course to help her with her Asperger's, she is very greatly affected mainly due to lack of support services and blame placed on her by others..if I can't get her home at 18 she'll go into an adult unit which I really don't want...
I get no income for her at all but am looking forward and trying to be positive. I currently pay the bedroom tax for her room, what help can she get financially when out? I intend to claim PIP for her but she won't be able to care for me my 16 year old does.
My social worker has just done a carer assessment for my 16 year old she's getting help for school runs etc via direct payment...
Thank you so much...

Based on the limited information you've given she could claim ESA. If you get child benefit in various forms you might not be better off as if she does claim as these would stop.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0

I forgot to say she won't be in education, I won't claim child benefit for her.0

I am wondering why you are paying the 'bedroom tax' whilst your daughter is away. Did you explain the circumstances to them? Did they allow a certain time when they did not apply the under occupancy charge?
It may be worth considering asking for a Discretionary Housing Payment from the council to cover this under occupancy charge.
ESA certainly sounds the correct benefit for your daughter to claim. However, it may be that she has to claim Universal Credit depending on the area you live in.
Perhaps a visit to CAB may be a good idea.0 -
Thank you sorry I didnt see this,
In my area universal credit isn't for the disabled they are doing only basic job seekers, I have tried to claim DHP but got refused as my PIP was included in the calculation..I've tried and tried telling them my situation but hasn't got me anywhere..
It's looking very likely she'll be out next month...0
