Some advice on this please i will keep it as short as possible.
Lg G4 bought from cex in july went faulty and when i returned it i was given the choice repair replace or refund in cash. I chose repair they then said a few days later it couldnt be fixed so i requested a replacement providing it was in as good condition as mine was. New phone arrived and it was badly damaged at the corners. Took it back asked for my money back and they say i can only have a voucher now as i have effectivley bought a new phone although this was a replacment under waranty.
The way they do it is refund to a voucher call the other store where the replacment is with the code then they send the phone. I am arguing that thier store procedures should not affect my consumer rights?
Thoughts?

No it shouldn't affect your rights but CEX are a nightmare to deal with and have terrible returns procedures.
The way they will see it is that you had a used phone and they replaced it with a used phone, condition is subjective so they will think they have done nothing wrong. If you haven't already accepted the voucher then you can fight your corner and remind them of your statutory rights, if you have then it's to late now.0 -
In fairness you asked for a replacement phone in as good a condition as the one you had. The one you had didn't work so technically they've given you a better phone0
