There's nothing wrong with the blinds themselves, and if you fit them straight out of the box, they'll be fine.

However, you need to be very careful, if cutting them to fit a window, as the cutting dimensions are wrong.

If you fit the brackets, then follow the instructions to cut the blind as per instructions (they say "Mark out the measurement less 30mm than the gap between the brackets and draw a dotted line down the length of the blind"), you will finish up 10mm short.

This just happened to me :mad: , but fortunately I'd set the brackets a couple of inches wider that the window aperture, so was able to move a bracket in by 10mm.

Instead of a wasted blind, all I'm just left with two unsightly holes in the curtain batten.
