EDF Energy 'slight delay in calculating your final bill'

Options
Switched from EDF 2 months ago. Two weeks before switch date, had regular bill, paid it in full. Switch went through two weeks later. Subsequently regularly get emails saying there's a slight delay in calculating my final bill. Have rung up but no one can give me an answer into roughly how much it is/when it will be known.

In my head, it can't be that much as its only 2 weeks of use. But it's frustrating. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone have a suggestion how to get it sorted? Or do I just sit tight and wait for the final bill to arrive?

Did you provide actual meter reads to your new supplier on the day of the switchover?
    Make £10 per day-
    June: £100/£300

I did. And have received a 'sorry you have left us, we hope to welcome you back soon' generic letter subsequently from EDF, so they know I've gone.

    Hope it helps you.

Nice, thanks. Will give him an email if I haven't had a bill in a week or so.

Update - final bill has arrived, I'm in credit by £240 odd and a cheque is 'on its way'.

    Which is nice.

I'm glad to here EDF have resolved this for you. Normally, it's the new incoming supplier that can sometimes delay the old supplier in generating a final bill.
Thank you all for helping me make my day by saving money!

Of all the suppliers I have been with, EDF have been the most efficient, honest and straightforward. I am pleased it has been resolved.
