I have loft space I want to rent out and found out about http://storemates.co.uk/
Any MSErs used this online company StoreMate to store their things? Or have you offered your space for others to store things? How long did it take to find a person to store items in your house or gararge? Are there lots of people looking to store their items/stuff with StoreMate?
Any advice, info, experience or web links most welcome.

What happens if your house/garage burns down?0

I presume StoreMate covers when & how you access things, as I'd be very uncertain about letting someone in after 10pm, and what about when I'm on holiday?
Mind, if I'm holding a stash for a waiting-to-escape victim of domestic violence, I'd hope I could offer 24/7 access but life isn't like that.0 -
You would need to check your house insurance as you will probably find that if you have third parties coming into your house, theft cover will be reduced to violent and forcible entry/egress from the property.0

Also don't forget you'll need to declare any rental income to the taxman. I would also double check your home insurance and see what the deal is with any public liability.0

what happens if someone stores guns/ammunition in your property??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0
