Aluminium box gutter insulation help

We have an aluminium box gutter that runs along 2 walls linking our conservatory to the house. We have recently put in new steel supports under the gutter so we no longer have the awful gallows brackets.
The gutter is still unclad and I have noticed that condensation has been forming on the underside. Before we re-clad it with Upvc, should we put some form of insulation under the aluminium and then clad with Upvc. The condensation has obviously formed because of the coldness of the gutter and the heat coming from the room itself and I would expect it to improve a bit with the Upvc cladding.
Alternatively double up on the Upvc cladding?
Thanks.
