Yes - but it is more than likely that your new supplier (unless you switch to Sainsburys) will not be able to take remote meter readings. You will still have the IHD but the tariff information may well be missing/incorrect.
Your meter will have to be replaced with a SMETS2 compliant meter or have a communications hub upgrade for it to work with the Data Communications Company's link to all suppliers. The DCC has just gone live ( I think) in a very limited way. Comms hubs upgrades are not planned before late 2018.
