Perhaps nationwide needs a little longer in order to eat the banks, as I suppose there's a disadvantage in not being able to issue stock, and its only just got to its present size after picking off the small fish, maybe it is getting a little bolder with timeThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hundreds of us received the first letter last year. Just you and your partner did not.
Dozens of us discussed the advised change on this forum at the time. Just you and your partner did not.

Not just them...I am the same, just got the letters from NW, although I can't remember whether I got the previous letters. That is why I came to this thread. I am glad to find this thread though, otherwise I might need to contact NW for clarification.0 -
FYI, I also didn't get the notice of the change from 2% to 1.75%.Being brave is going after your dreams head on0

OH and self both have a Regular Savings account and neither of us have received notification of interest drop from 2% to 1.75% until letter dated 26/10/16 received today advising of account being transferred to Instant Access Account on 1/12/16 which comments in its narrative that the interest rate on the Regular Savings is 1.75%!0
