Egg card & mortgage

Many years ago I had an Egg card and mortgage which may have had PPI associated with them. Any idea how I find how to start a claim bearing in mind Egg was taken over quite some time ago?
Thanks in advance for any info.

You do not claim unless you have suffered a misfortune which the policy covered (assuming it ever existed).
You can complain if you believe it a policy was missold to you. However, with a credit card, the premium would show on each monthly statement.
So you could look at your old statements.
If you had it on your mortgage, you would need to complain to whoever sold it to you - possibly a broker. You would then have to explain why it was not suitable for you.0
