You will stay for four nights at Torassieppi Reindeer Farm, which dates back to 1847, where you will gain an insight into the life led by reindeer herders. Daylight hours will be spent exploring the snowy wilderness on snowshoes and experiencing an exhilarating 10-mile husky safari, stopping for coffee and biscuits around a campfire.

You will also learn how to make traditional Lappish dishes using local ingredients on a private cookery course. At night you’ll be taken on an aurora-hunting tour to try and spot the natural phenomena.

The last night will be spent glamping in an Aurora Dome – a completely insulated, igloo-shaped tent with a wood-burning stove and a transparent wall that faces north for prime views of the unpolluted skies.
