  • Aww shucks - saw these too late and it's all eaten - sorry Misty & HH! :rotfl:

Well change of plan for me for the next couple of days as there's no flying as Scampton on Friday - boo! For a good reason though as the boys are doing their annual Great Ormond Street Christmas visit. :T They're only flying a half day tomorrow as well so I've elected to ditch heading up until after new year now.

Instead I have a monster list of things to do and plans to run several times as our ice has finally thawed! :D

  • Hurrah - another £46 paid to the 0% card today thanks to OnePoll & Secret survey site money landing! AND that takes me to over £700 paid off it which was of course my goal for the year! :T Even better, the standard monthly payment is still to go to it as well so that will then take me to below £500 still to pay! :T:T

Masses done off my monster list today - including paying the Christmas car hire cost. Also bagged a 70p bottle of bubble bath in the chemist when I went in for my prescription - no idea why it was reduced but Radox for that price works for me! Went to Al's while I was out as well and bought the stuff on my shopping list that I knew were tasty and a lower price in there so that's less to do in Sainsbugs tomorrow. Handily both the Amazon deliveries I was expecting also turned up this morning - useful as one of them was originally due after the date I needed to give the present to the recipient! :rotfl:

Got out for a run first thing as planned - lovely to be out there again although it was a bit slippery underfoot in places. That's day 2 of week five C25K done though - might try for day 3 tomorrow! :D I was pleased with how today went though - I could easily have carried on running after it told me to stop and the hills were definitely less of a challenge!

  • Have a lovely weekend EH x

  • Cheers all!! The weekend was mostly running about like mad things getting everything sorted ahead of "Christmas" with my folks on Sunday. Had a lovely day over there, thoroughly spoiled with presents and lots of nice food! :D

This week is mostly about getting things sorted ready for going away so there will be lists! The meal plan is designed to use things up - although I impulse bought a 29p cauliflower on saturday (as you do!:rotfl:) so will need to feature that somewhere now! While the oven was on cooking christmas food on Saturday I roasted a big pan of veg that needed used up so that will be eaten tonight and tomorrow in some combination I think - pretty sure we have eggs to use as well now I think about it...hmm!

I'm determined to keep the exercise up this week ahead of what we can pretty much guarantee will be a week of eating lots of deliciousness and drinking a fair bit of it too! Ran Sunday morning ahead of going to Mums, and ran last night as well so that's week 6 of C25K well underway - I'll do day 3 of it on Friday I think, although actually I'm seriously tempted to just do it on the treadmill in the gym tomorrow as I can't guarantee what the pavements will be like on Friday morning and they might well be icy. It was getting slippy when I was out last night and I certainly won't be risking it on Friday as I have to drive to Doncaster to pick up MrEH on the way to Glasgow on Friday evening! Hmmm - need to think about that. I can then totally play it by ear on Friday.

OOh just realised that the regular payment will have gone to the 0% card so I can update my signature in a minute.
OnePoll is at £4 - would like to get it to £5 for Christmas
Prolific - got a small study on there this morning but definitely won't be cashing out again ahead of Christmas.
