Gah - bloody forum, lost my post!
Lovely input on the bra question - thanks ladies! Washing bags - Rosa I’ve literally never used them, but then I’ve also been cheerfully lobbing bras in the machine with everything else for ….errr…. Thirty-mumble years and never had this issue before. I’ve had the odd rogue wire sneak out and stab me in the boob or armpit but never try to murder my washing machine! Might Chuck them into an old pillowcase or something next time.. Paws those EmmAndEss ones are rather swanky - although I confess I LOVE a balcony style one myself. I always feel a bit “unsafe” in a plunge - half waiting for an escape committee to form.. 😆 On the subject of EmmAndEss RT those are definitely cheap by my standards! Freya ones are available over here via Bravissimo I discovered earlier - Greenbee I wore them for years and loved them! Super comfy and a lovely shape too! Cheery I’d not come across that site before so will look there for them too! GAP A friend of mine uses Molke but I think they’re all non-wired from what she’s said? Not for me, if so, I definitely prefer the “lift and separate” approach! 😜Will be bookmarking the Boob or Bust site too as that’s now been mentioned to me twice today!Might just defer the whole thing until January now - I’ve got enough respectable ones for when we go away allowing for a bit of hand washing while we’re there, then I can dedicate a bit of time to it when we’re back. Just irritating having done the whole exercise last just a few months ago - I’ve got relatively little faith in the other Boux Avenue ones from that same purchase now though, sadly.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Molke are non wired, broad strap crossover design in fab colours - a friend loves them, I found they gave a different shape so didn't work with my clothes except for weekend stuff, and wrestling in and out of them was as bad as a sports braDebt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

They can be a bit "monoboob" as I understand it. I should probably just stay out of bra chat as I have less idea than a man when it comes to them 🙈Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

GAP I’d say you have a different perspective on all things boob-related by the sound of it, but definitely no less right to be joining in than anyone else! 😁
Well I’m definitely starting to wave the KCFH off thank goodness - still coughing but a lot less, and the snottiness has (thank goodness!) subsided to distinctly manageable levels - I’ve only used one tissue so far this morning! Feeling a LOT more human which is handy as I have STUFF to do today. I’m going to need a list for the next few days I suspect.
MrEH’s rugby on Saturday has been cancelled due to covid cases within the club - he’s a bit narked though as his team are all absolutely fine! That will be it for them now until after Christmas I think - although it wouldn’t surprise me if some of them decide to do some training or fitness stuff somewhere along the line. From one perspective it at least gives us an extra bit of time to get things done ahead of Christmas which is good. He’s meant to be booking his car in for tyres to be done - so that will be a close to £200 spend. Mine needs two as well which I hope to get sorted over the weekend - but I need to make a decision between runflat and reinforced options as I have no spare, just a reinflation kit. As far as I know it currently has reinforced ones fitted and I have to say I’ve been really impressed with those, so I may go back for that type.Prolific £13.00 paid / 88p pending
OnePoll 1355 pointsYesterday was definitely not an NSD as I bought some Christmas presents. Today won’t be either! 😆 Need to go back to the Clinique site today for one of Mum’s presents but also need to have a proper look at the options they are offering in their prize thing to decide if it’s worth getting any of the freebies. Also need to think what else I need to get from Amazon so I can deal with checking out the ever-increasing basket.First though, second cuppa, and toast…🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Ugh - I am REALLY struggling to get motivated today. A plan is needed.I have already (one small thing) sorted out our vast hoard of reusable shopping bags. OMG. SO. MANY. The ones we want to take away (2 bottle/tin carriers plus 6 old-school plastic bags for life) are set aside ready to put in the car. Any cloth ones that are past their best have been set aside to use as rubbish bags. Any ordinary carriers or flimsier bag for life types have been sent to the carrier bag holder. A handful which are impractical for various reasons have been put aside to use for taking stuff to charity shops. The remainder have been sorted into two bags containing sturdy large hessian ones, and one containing a mix of cloth and plastic. The plastic ones won’t now be replaced when they go in holes - apart from a small number to use in the Hebrides as they’re practical there because they fold to a size that fits in the car door pockets.I’ve also
- done a quick tidy of some stuff in the spare room
- tracked down some rubbish and taken it to the bins
- taken out the recycling
- got a basic white loaf going in the bread maker ready for bread sauce.- asked MrEH to print the ferry ticket confirmation so we will have it to handThings I need to do today:
- Sort out Claire’s present
- order more stuff for Mum, and MrEH.- come up with further ideas for Dad.
- Finish next week’s meal plan- 15 minute timer to just relocate things that are not where they should be!- Put my walking trousers through the wash overnight with techwashThings I can do tomorrow:
- go into town to get “oddments” for people’s Christmas pressies
- SportsDirect for MrEH’s bits from there.- write next week’s shopping list
- Sorts out herbs/spices to take away
Things for the weekend:
- Take stuff to charity shop
- MrEH’s car tyres
- My car tyres
- buy charity shop books for Mum
- Buy charity shop books for me for Hebrides reading!- buy the donation bits for the Homeless Shelter
- brainstorm re shopping list for the main shop when we arrive in the Hebrides“Small things” I’d *like* to tackle:
- dust mantelpiece
- Dust kitchen shelves
- tidy/dust front room coffee table
- Tidy the “everything” drawers in the front room.
- Sort magazines to go away with us
Right - that might help concentrate my mind on actual tasks, not drifting!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Love a good list. I was panicking as had so much to do, thankfully yesterday DH spent the day in bed due to the side effects of the booster jab that it meant I could get a lot sorted and out of the way. Just made a list of stuff left to do, which is slowly going down.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.004

Pleased you stayed off work and hope your feeling better. Loving the list….especially the small things.
I’m another who struggled and ended up seeing a specialist who immediately put me on iron and HRT. I was just recovering from major surgery and gave me the option of a hysterectomy which I said no to. He warned me that the GP would want to take me off the medication- which was true….I stuck to my guns for about 10 years but started bleeding with the hrt so GP took me straight off it - no weaning off - the side effects were pretty grim and took a long time to settle down….and some of them are persistent little blighters which are still with me over night 😡 I’m coming back as a man next time 😏👍January spends - £587.583 -

Sorry to hear your OH had a reaction Amber - at least it let you get on with things though I guess. Hope he’s bounced back today?Milann I swear they definitely have it easier! Amazing how many of us here have had various gynae issues along those lines too isn’t it. HRT is one of those things I need to look into, but I really need to see someone who has knowledge around how it will affect the fibroids.
SH we head north on Christmas night - part way that night, up to Skye the day after and an early ferry the day after to get across. Can’t wait!Update:
Claire’s present is planned out, and one part of it is bought.I’ve ordered one more thing for Mum, from her list, and picked up some extra bits for MrEH while I was out.
still stuck for Dad but will get some odds and ends for him tomorrow
Meal plan is done apart from one day that I need to think about.I’ve done two 15 minute decluttering/relocating sessions.Trousers are in the WM - I’ll set it up in a moment.Today’s small things:
Cleaned the glass shelf in the bathroom and the vase that sits on it.Kitchen shelves dusted. And a frog:
Remembered to pop into the library as it was open when I passed. No record of my previous membership but I now have a new one, with a shiny new card, and access to the Libby app… 😊
Plan for tomorrow is as I have the bike to use I’ll head into town - probably need a list so I remember what I want to get so need to think about that. Also need to be wary of how much I can carry too as I’ll just have my backpack. I’ll leave the charity shops until Saturday as MrEH wants to head in to see if he can find some trousers too.MrEH topped his Oyster card up today - totally forgot he was meant to use the joint account not the CC! 😂 Oh well - we’re nearly at the end of the CC month anyway so I’ll leave it and sort that out with the rest now I think.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I haven’t been to the outer Hebrides. I believe they’ve got fantastic beaches, better than Skye. How long are you there for?
