Hi Here are pictures showing the connection for the supply of water to my new toilet, once I have sorted out the copper pipework what type of connection would be best from the pipe to this connector for the best leak free fit

it looks like a standard fitting, have you thought about putting a mini stop !!!! as well. oyu could use a flexible pipe with stop !!!! between copper and plastic pipingsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Standard 1/2" tap connector with an inline check valve further back, or as has been suggested, a flexi connector with a built in check valve.
If you use a pushfit flexi then you can put this onto a bare end of copper pipe and screw the other end to your toilet.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
HugoSP I was wondering if there was a pushfit for this. Is there one with a screw end and push fit for the pipe. I suppose I can get this fairly easily although could you tell me what this type is called?
Robnye, what is a mini stop?
Thanks for the help0 -
One small point - don't overtighten the connector - those plastic threads can easily split and leave you with a leaking fitting - you shouldn't need/use ptfe on this connctor, just the fibre washer should do it.
If you do over tighten it, you'll need a new fitting.0 -
Hi
Hugo , why would you want a check valve?
Are we doing the bath next?:D
