The top photo looks like there is an o ring on it, can you take the rads off and post photos of the fittings.
Also this is better than ptfe tape but a more expensive.

Unfortunately I'm hard of hearing, so calling Plumbers is out for me. I'm also disabled with no strength in my hands, so there's no way I'd attempt to take the rad pipes off myself.
This is making me feel more and more that my plumber is not 'up to par', so I'll look into getting another one out. Just annoyed that I've paid for nothing today really... obvs his time, but he hasn't fixed the issue; perhaps I shouldn't have paid till he fixed it, but when he started talking about 'leak stopper', I got worried.Thanks to everyone for the posts and all the hard work you do. :lovethoug0 -
I am araid to say that you did not call out a plumber.
If you had he would have fixed the leaks before leaving ypour premises !!
He was just a bodger by the sound of it, not that it helps your situation.0
