Hi,
Long story short the driver parked in an unmarked bay at centertinment Sheffield.
I ignore that initial letters and now after a few months they said I owed them £120.
Like an idiot I agreed to partially pay the fine and paid them £30.
Another 3 months have passed and I now received a letter stating I must pay the remaining £90 within 14 days or further action will be taken.
I did not know that I shouldn't make contact with them until I came across this forum.
Now my question is do I leave the remaining £90 and continue to ignore them, or should I pay it?
Now that I have contacted them and made partial payment if I ignore the remaining £90 what are the chances of a court summons?
Thanks

Is the agreement to pay only £30 in writing? Is there wording to the effect that this was "in full and finale settlement"? Or was it all done over the telephone? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Maybe its too late but its a fair assumption that the OP is using his real name. I suggest changing it if possible.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

The initial £30 was paid over the phone, no writing involved.
The most recent letter, this is what it says to be exact..
"As you have failed to keep up to date with payments owed you now have 14 days from the date of this letter to settle the account in full order to prevent any POSSIBLE further action being taken"
Where should I take it from here?
P.S. All correspondence has been from UKCPS only

as they are not in a recognised ATA this is now a non motoring debt , tell them to take you to the county court where you will state you have been duped into paying a cowboy money , I also note that they are accepting 4 payments , as they do not hold a consumer credit licence , this could cost them dearly .
and to quote from a government website:
What you need consumer credit authorisation for
You must check if your firm’s proposed business means you need FCA authorisation to carry out regulated consumer credit activities such as:- selling goods or services on credit (including hire purchase)
- hiring or leasing out goods for more than 3 months
- lending money
- issuing credit cards
- arranging credit for other people
- collecting or purchasing consumer credit debts
- helping people with debt problems or advising on people’s credit standing
maybe reporting them would be a good thing
I see no registration with the correct authority

I'm already one step ahead, this username does not represent my real name in anyway nor was the parking ticket in Sheffield. But the story is the same.
Where should I take it from here then?0 -

Could you sum it up for me in a nutshell.
