Best Options for Faster Uploads

I'm currently with TalkTalk Phoneline and ADSL getting 16mb/s downloads but only the standard 1mb/s uploads
I've recently started uploading a lot more videos to YouTube, etc and it takes forever - a 20 minute HD video of around 1.5GB in size I believe can take 6 or 7 hours to upload.
I really need to get something that gives me faster uploads - I see TalkTalk do Fibre but the basic Fibre package is a mere 2mb/s Upload - so barely worth upgrading to me.
I just got a letter 3 weeks ago saying because of the price increase I got 30 days to call them to leave without penalty - what are my options?
I see BT's middle speed packages start at 9mb/s uploads which would make a huge difference to myself. - we also have Virgin Media in our road.
I have no real interest in TV, Free Calls, etc. We just need to receive phone calls and use the internet with unlimited use.

Generally any FTTC package that offers the upto 72mbps has upto 20mbps upload speeds
Virgin is currently 20mbps on the 200mb gamer package and 30mbps on the home office+ package
You may also be in a hyperoptic area that has upto 1gbps upload or if money is no concern you could do leased line.0 -
As i understand BT OR sell different packages .Lower upload speed is what may be the difference in suppliers over fibre .0

I'm on Homeworks+ 300, the rate caps are 330mbit down 21mbit up.
I was previously on Gamer 200, which actually had a higher upload (buy about 2mbit).
To OP, anyone except Plusnet and Talktalk will give you "up to" 10meg up (40/10) on basic fibre. BT infinity 1 is now 55/10 iirc.
The 80 meg packages are 80/20, but are only faster if your line supports it.
Put your address in the address checker here (not just postcode, and your phone number probably won't work if it's a Talktalk line) and it should give you a good idea what you can achieve on your line.

Just to clarify talktalk and Plusnet both only do 1.9Mb upload on their 40Mb download tiers of Fibre.
If you want 9.5 Mbps upload then you need to pay more with BT, EE or Sky.0 -
My basic Virgin is 50Mb down and 3 mb up

Origin Broadband do 10Mb up and 38Mb down for £3.59 for first 6 months then £13.59 thereafter, plus £17.99 line rental per month.
I've been with them for a couple of months now and no problems. They also have a UK call centre.
They also have a 76/20 product if your line can support it.0
