RBS Student Royalties Account?

I recently applied for an RBS Select Current Acc on9 to later switch to Halifax to get the incentive, but when I popped in RBS to hand in my documents I was told being a foreign student I can only open an 'account for student'.
I was given a 'Student Royalties Account Opening Form' to fill up, but when I tried to search on9 I always got redirected to their Student Bank Account page.
Does anyone know if these are the same? And can I still use the Current Acc Switch Service to switch to Halifax if I proceeded with opening the Student Account?
Thanks!

They are one and the same. Royal Bank have got rid of their Royalties branding but for some reason it's not been completely eradicated from the student and graduate account. The Ts&Cs still refer to Student Royalties and Graduate Royalties.0
