Birmingham Airport-Short Stay pick up CXar Park?

I am due to pick my daughter up Saturday night from her working in TRurkey for the Summer. Will only need a couple of hours max car parking so we can be there when she arrives.
Have always used the International Car Par (Virgin) in the past but see the charges seem to have massively increased to £9-Is there any other cheaper option?

You could check out parking at Marston Green station and getting the train to and from the airport (1 stop). Off peak day return is £2.20, single is £2.10.0

We parked up at 0006 hrs & tried to pay at 0056 so less than 1 hour & no charge was applied & the barrier just lifted as we left the car park.
Strange? I was expecting a £9 charge.0
