Hi
Does anyone know who stocks sterling travellers cheques that can buy straight away without ordering. Ordered 1500 quid on line with lloyds as commission free and transaction has failed . My bank says gave them money and lloyds say havnt taken it. Hoping money will go back in at close business today ( otherwise don't know what I will do ) as fly out at 9am on Thursday morning. Starting to panic as know banks can take days to sort out their mistakes.

Marks and Spencers are commission free and will buy them back.
Post Office are the same too (I think, although not sure about buying them back).

The Post Office are most certainly not commission free (on sterling TCs) - I doubt if M&S are either. It's unusual, though not entirely unknown.
The Post Office will buy them back if you can produce your receipt with no extra commission. If you don't have your receipt you can spend them at the PO, but to cash them if you don't make a purchase they charge a commission.0 -
You can walk straight into American Express and buy sterling TC's but they're not commission free. They never expire though and peace of mind from their 24 hour replacement if they stolen.:wave:0
