Worried about identity theft after having to leave the country

Long story short, just before leaving home for overseas work I found out Mrs had an affair. Too short notice to actually act on it. I changed as much of the utilities to her name as possible, closed a shared bank account, etc. In the meanwhile I've found out, two weeks leaving, the guy is living with her. Shes quickly…

For what it's worth (and you have my sympathies), Equifax allows you to place a fraud alert on your/their credit file for free for 90 days: https://help.equifax.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/126/~/fraud-alerts-fee

I'm sure I listed an address overseas though, when I went abroad for work but that's quite a few years (seven?) ago now.
