I recently posted a completed from martins list for PPI reclamation. Posted it recorded. When my wife phoned up. The bank has said unless we fill in one of their forms requesting basically same information we sent, then claim may be delayed.. Can they do this.?
Thanks in anticipation.

It really depends on the quality of information you gave in your complaint. If it is less than the information they have requested then it can delay it when they later ask for that information or they may assume you dont have that information or there may be gaps in the information that leads to an outcome that may not be in your favour.
They are not saying they ARE going to delay it. Just that it may be. So, in that respect, the answer they gave is technically correct.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
