Every new poster these days with a slightly off the wall question seems to be accused of being DM101 resurrected. Surely the forum rules (and the catching software) prohibit the same people from signing up under different names?
The forum rules may (or may not) prohibit it but it clearly isn't being prevented.
There are a number of posters, of whom DM101 is but one, who have multiple identities that run both concurrently and consecutively. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -

The trouble is that some members of this forum regularly accuse any new poster who is posting something that is a little out of the norm (or sometimes with something very mundane indeed) is accused of being DM. It's not very welcoming and what members should do is report suspected dual handle posters (preferably without saying they have done so in-thread as that is confrontational) to the mods and see if they can be bothered to something about it.0 -

Yeh, there was another forum I used to be on where one poster was banned and for years afterwards it seemed to me that some posters were determined to accuse pretty much any newbie whose post didn't meet their criteria for "normality" of being that banned poster. So it seems to be a common trait.
The other common trait though is the One Post Wonder. The OP seems to have done a runner, not answering any if the questions asked.0 -

Not really surprising when people tell him/her how stupid he is in the way they often do, you know, like they never made a mistake in their life before...0 -
Nice theory...however the OP logged off before any comments were posted and has never been back.Mercdriver wrote: »Not really surprising when people tell him/her how stupid he is in the way they often do, you know, like they never made a mistake in their life before...0 -

How do you know he hasn't been back without logging in?
It's interesting how people defend their own bullying on this forum.0 -
Very good chance they haven't I suspect. Not sure how I have bullied the OP on this thread...Mercdriver wrote: »How do you know he hasn't been back without logging in?

I used the 'third person' for good reason.
I occasionally access the forum from another browser, namely ios without being signed in.0 -
Then perhaps you should have made that statement in a separate post, instead it appears that it was directed at me, 3rd person or not.Mercdriver wrote: »I used the 'third person' for good reason.0 -

Apologies. It wasn't directed specifically at you.0
