I like Bicester (got a mulberry there) & Street (got a couple of mulberrys at the factory shop nearby). I like gunwarlf, got a couple of Michael Korres there- clearly I have a major bag fetish!

I got excited when Radley opened at the York outlet, but the prices for one are still roughly what I'd spend on bags in a decade.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Gunwharf is good.
A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.

Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

It was sale prices I was talking about, all the ones I've seen are over £100.

But I'm probably at the bottom end of the handbag budget anyway.

At the McArthur Glen near us, the Next Clearance shop is crammed full of tat.

In the M&S Outlet, you can pay more for stuff you'd see in your local store in the 50℅ off sale - and you have to return it to the outlet if you change your mind.

    A few decent kitchen stores.
And a Kurt Geiger shop that sometimes has good bargains.

I tend to go once a year, between Xmas & New Year. Arrive as they're opening & out a couple of hours later.

Bicester used to be good when it first opened some real bargains but over time they are just not there anymore (for the stuff we like and use).

I remember my mum saying schlep when I was a kid!
Bicester used to be good when it first opened some real bargains but over time they are just not there anymore (for the stuff we like and use).

That seems to happen to a lot of the discount villages after a while. I used to love going to the Crabtree and Evelyn shop in Clarks Village years ago. After Christmas you could get the big gift sets for at least 50% off and many items were reduced by a lot more. The last few times I have gone the reductions weren't much more than you would find in the high street shops during sale time.

I think you definitely can find bargains in these places, but you need to stick to the brands you really know well so you can evaluate whether the price is actually a bargain.

Jeez! Nearly 700 quid on 2 handbags?
I don't care what the RRP is - I thought this was a money- saving website.

And I'm still not convinced that 'schlep' is the appropriate word in this instance.
