Ive got £600 left because ive just enjoyed a nice holiday - I started with £100 initially some years ago - But i can just as easy turn the £600 into alot more - Guess im just going to have to wait for this letter
  • I have a TSB Classic Plus Account. I feel very sorry for you when your debit card was refused in Asda. This should have been sorted out when turned up at the TSB and showed your identity. The bank manager should have been able to unlock your debit card. When this is sorted out you should ask for more than 100 pound compensation. In the future think about having more than one bank account. For example I also have a Halifax Reward account. Good luck.

The letter sounds like it could be a 60 day closure notice; LBG seem to send these out when bitcoins are involved (as another poster said TSB run on the same infrastructure as them.)

If it is a 60 day notice though, it isn't going to help in unblocking the account for the time being.

So what happens then? Do i have to wait 60 days for the funds to be released to me?
  • Depends whether they'll allow you to use the account during the notice period.

If not, you should still be able to withdraw any credit balance over the counter.

Life isn't fair, get used to it (and plan for it).
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

Do other, unrelated banks have this policy when it involves bitcoins?

Did you really have to resurrect a 2 year old thread to ask this? Why not start a thread of your own if you want an answer?
