The cafe's pricing will include an allowance for wastage. Absolutely they should have replaced the drink.
Starbucks pro-tip: Always go for the filter (drip). It's made with decent single-origin beans rather than Starbies terrible generic charcoal-roasted blend used for the espresso stuff.
Also it's made in decent Bunn brewers that are hard to get wrong and reliably produce a good brew. And it costs less than mochachoccafrappachino nonsense. And if they don't have any ready to serve, they'll give you an Americano for the same price. (Okay mixed fortunes with that last one.) Or they'll do a fresh brew if you can wait a few minutes.0 -
