Finding Cheap Flights

Hi,

I found this article about how airlines set their flight prices really useful -

It's an education!

Just a friendly advice... If you go into the easyJet website to check availability/price of flights but do not book at the time, your computer is dished out a “cookie”, which some of you may think easyJet was just being nice. Not a bit of it! What it means is that your computer has been flagged by their system and they know you are interested in that particular flight. When you go back to book your flight, guess what! The prices have gone up, anything between £15 to £30!

How to cut your losses: check your flights and prices as normally and, if you are not booking the flight at that stage...

Before going into the easyJet site to book your flight, go into the internet, click on tools, then on internet options... and then delete cookies. easyJet no longer can trace your interest in that flight and you are offered the price of a first enquiry.

    Happy flying!!!!

    Best regards
    Joan

I dont think thats what the cookies do.I suppose they are capable of it but its probably more to do with the flights been sold or heavy searches done on those days.
