    Would you trust them?

If the checks are insurance backed who's posing the premium on a free check.
  • If you buy a car that has outstanding finance then providing that you were not aware of this, you still become the legal owner of that vehicle. (This doesn't apply to vehicles on a lease agreement or vehicles that have been stolen and then sold).

Title to that vehicle transfers to you and the finance company then has to chase the person that the finance agreement was with to try to get their money.
