Asda are the best of the lot for coupons. I have been using all sorts there for years, including internet ones, without any problem. If the cashier suggests they don't sell the product, just keep the coupon and present it next time. I have to admit they've accepted coupons which I never thought I had a chance with. Far less hassle than at Tesco's!

Sainsbury's now have the same BOGOF offer on Shreddies Fruitful with the Joey coupons but at £1.74 for 2 boxes. Even more profit.

Tesco also have a similar offer of 2 for £3 on some of the more expensive Nestle cereals with the Joey coupons, including Clusters, Fitnesse and Shredded Wheat Triple Berry*!

Of course you can also pay with a coupon effectively getting 2 coupons back plus 2 boxes of free cereal!

*normally £2.18 per box this one gives the biggest saving

Am I right in thinking that Asda will match any deals/offers being run by other supermarkets so long as they sell that item??

For example.....Get a leaflet in the newspaper saying that Tesco are doing Pepsi on BOGOF....Asda sell Pepsi but aren't doing that deal.....you show them your leaflet with the Tesco deal on and they match it...????

Is this true?? I don't usually shop at Asda but I'm thinking about starting to if this is true. Also we have just had a new Aldi open....will they match their deals/offers too if I have a leaflet?

    Thanks.

ing head office it's corporate policy to accept them ;)[/QUOTE]
I have been down this route with head office and local branch and here in Barnsley the local managers don't care what policies H/Q make, we interpret them and e-vouchers are a nono
    Nice to save.

ASDA will price match anyones offers as long as they are on a leaflet, flyer or newspaper ad. (not printed off the internet or photocopied) - they have a sign up at the customer services desk in our local store that says this. So as long as it is the same product/brand they should price match Tesco, Netto, Somerfield, Sainsbury, etc. etc. and if you are lucky enough, the price match for a product that is on offer in ASDA as well - you may actually make even more of a saving.

Last week I had a leaflet for Somerfield that had 5 x Muller Light for £1.00. ASDA had these on sale for 38p each or 3 for 99p so I bought 10 of them and was charged :-

    5 for £1 - price match
    5 for £1 - price match
    minus 15p - 3 for 99p
    minus 15p - 3 for 99p
    minus 15p - 3 for 99p

so ended up paying £1.55 for 10 which was even better than I expected !!!!

Edit - additional info added below -

This week I am going to try the same with the Morrisns offer for Muller Vitality pro biotic drink which is BOGOF at £1.49. ASDA have it at £1.48 but for £2 so I hope I can get :-

    2 for £1.49 - BOGOF
    minus 96p - 2 for £2

Which makes 53p for 2 packs !!! Time will tell.
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!
