LG do at times offer free five year warranties, which are administered by D&G. Can you post your picture so we can get an idea of what you have been offered? The name of the retailer would be helpful too.
I am in agreement with eddddy, at present you have no loss. You have proof that you purchased a warranty, this doesn't need to be in a formal document, you would be covered under s. 75 should you have a problem at a later date.

Well seems you are saying that using S75 is not the correct vehicle for this case.
Can you / anyone then please suggest how I can get the retailer to provide proper policy details, as they said they would .
Its like saying you do not need policy details, a receipt is just enough, but doubt anyone would be happy if they did not receive their car, home or contents insurance policy details each year ..
Copy of the original screen web advert link below, not a one off sale item either, they had dozens of these and other LG sets stacked up in the showroom and in their stock room.
Perhaps they are relying on folk forgeting about the 5 year warranty...
