Can I win this one at popla?

Sounds like the basis of some comments to make, stating that the file picture of the sign is no evidence of how readable the terms were on site, in particular whether there was a readable sign where the parking charge itself could have been accepted due to it being in the most prominent font with 'large lettering'. The photo 'evidence' merely shows that the car was near the P&D machine, but it is not disputed that in fact, before it ran out driver bought another and placed it under the windscreen wiper, which you are contending was probably removed by the UKPC employee, not believing their luck, then taking a misleading photo which they are infamous for.Ok thanks, looks like the witness statement has not been signed by the named witness, name is different. Also signs are not legible in pics, but they have put a copy of one they must keep on file, prob to use for printing signs!
P.S. to the driver: Never put a P&D ticket loose under a windscreen wiper as a 'here you are' present for another driver! There are scammers everywhere.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Why are you even thinking 'paying up' is an option? Where did we say that? Where does anyone say that on any 'lost at POPLA' threads (search for them!).Lost popla, police have no cctv, they have done everything by the book and we have been shafted by whoever removed the ticket.

Landowner being most unhelpful, if I loose at court how much will I have to pay then?
They won the popla so would imagine they may go all the way?0 -
A £100 PCN case, if lost at small claims, adds about £75 in fees. So just £175-ish is risked all told, if you lose.Landowner being most unhelpful, if I loose at court how much will I have to pay then?

No a huge risk and well worth defending for the life experience alone. No CCJ, no effect on your credit rating and a chance to cost THEM money, regardless of the outcome!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
