We've got one and OH insists items put into dw are clean (I know, don't ask!) So I think a complete waste of money and big electric/water use.

As the OP has only ever made 2 posts on this site, both in this thread and back in 2016, I doubt you'll get an answer.....

On te other hand he did log in 10 months ago too.....

It made me look somewhat distrustfully at my dishwasher.

Unwarranted, perhaps, but it shares the same genes, and they do say blood is thicker than ketchup.

Strange co-incidence my NEFF integrated dishwasher has stopped working today = error E15. I believe this is due to the outlet pipe is clogged with food waste / grease. Could be down to my OH who despite my repeated requests, never rinses food off dishes before putting them into the dishwasher.

I have removed the machine and stripped the machine best I can but can't get to the outlet pipe.

I have put in some Mr Muscle in the hope it may clear the blockage?

    Any advice please?

Clean the combination waste or stand drain its outlet goes to.

Also if you can get it to start try one of these (Similar/cheap) all supermarkets:

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Finish-Dishwasher-Cleaner-Lemon-250/dp/B0176MBV7U

Follow the instructions and use a hot wash. You leave the wax in the bottle so it melts when up to temperature.

Make sure you and your partner properly wash the dishes, ideally with Fairy, before putting them in the machine.

that will ensure no food or grease blocks the outlet pipe.

You will, however, have to unblock the u-bend of your sink regularly instead.
