Ruby glad Evie is ok how frightening for you all
    LWW hugs to you x
The weather here is chilly but blue skies which is nice
Dinner tonight is pie n mash
Have a great day whatever you are up to x
  • Morning, ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) if you need one.

This lap top is driving me nuts, it keeps timing out, I go to post my entry and it comes up time out and the post disappears. I have to restart the blasted thing and start all over.

I have reported it to me broadband provider but its not them. My I pad connects regardless, its just this damn new lap top, feel like chucking it out the window.

I had a simialer experience with our red setter, boys on the park let off a cracker jack, she could move at the best of times, but she went like the wind. I eventually found her sitting on the front door step scratching and whining to be let in.

Its foggy here typical, I have a load of laundry waiting to go out, hope it clears or we are going to have wet washing hanging about.

Shepherds pie for supper, might do a crème caramel for dessert.

    Hi All

Hope everyone is OK despite firework nonsense (what is WRONG with some folks?).:mad:

The sun is cracking the flags here, but very cold indeed and we've absolute banks of fallen leaves to move to clear the paths. The sky is unbelievably blue and I can't find a matching pair of gloves anywhere lol.

Hope those who had them, are nearly there after tumbles/falls/colds/tummy bugs. Sending hugs/positivity and xxxxx's to all who want them. To those in a dark place, make a hot brew and keep going - you can do this xx. Special thoughts (and candles lit) for LWW and Lainey.

    Have a beautiful Tuesday xx

    Morning everybody,
Its a glorious day here, though nippy, bit of frost on the grass when I took Ly1a out earlier on the park.Stripped our bed earlier so will have to have the dryer on.We have a superking, and also conifers in the back garden like you TA,so no chance of drying outside at this time of year:(,if only the woman at the back would cut them a little bit,sigh....

LWW- thinking of you and your family x
RR- blooming fireworks, poor little Evie and what an awful night for you.Clever girl to find her way home again, thank goodness.Ly1a is frightened of her own shadow so anything that bangs or makes a loud noise petrifies her,she was pacing about and wouldnt settle on Sunday evening when we heard some go off.

I've got beef stew in the slowcooker for later, but also want to make a couple of pies with the leftover tater hash from yesterday to put in the freezer.Lads arent that keen but put it in a pie and they'll eat anything :rotfl:Did some butternut soup as well,so 1 for my dinner today & 2 in the freezer.

DGS coming later for his overnighter, ready for me minding him tomorrow. We haven't seen him for nearly a week as he's been away.My energy levels are still flagging after the stomach bug but luckily DS is back from his trip down South so he'll be able to give me a bit of a break if I need it.DGD(5) did come for tea last night,we werent expecting her as DS2 said she was starting Rainbows but thats not till next week. She examined the squares I've done since weekend on her blanket & gave her approval, picked out some more colours and asked if it can have her name on,will have to give that some thought :D

Thinking of those in need of a hug, take care xx

After my lazy start I've been busy enough to want to sit down now.

As the forecast for tomorrow and onward is really rubbish I've risked hanging a washing load out in the back garden. No big conifers here (well only one) but the garden is fully enclosed by old stone walls so there's only a short window when the sun can beam down on the whirly-gig, even shorter in winter. I'll put them on the airer later if they've not dried properly, at least they'll have the outdoor dried smell.

Poor doggies, my heart goes out to them, and cats, in this silly season. Horrid people doing horrid things.

Right, back to the kitchen for me. I'm finishing off the tortilla bake which needs assembled now.

    Evening all,

just a quick visit. Is anyone in touch with Hilstep in real life? I have been thinking about her today.

Onwards and forwards and hugs to all,

    have a great evening all.
