Moving House with BT

Followed the whole thing from start to finish....then at the end it says "Your line rental contract will be renewed for 12 months"


wow...hold on so I don't get to haggle the price or anything?
Has anyone else done this, would it be better to try and move provider or get different offers by becoming a new customer? Worth ringing up and haggling?

    if you are not worried about keeping your number when moving then just sign up as a new customer at the new address
