Replacement phone

I've recently paid the excess to get a replacement phone as my original one had a cracked screen with white lines running down it, plus the charge port became faulty. It was still useable but I decided to get a replacement anyway. This was with my banks phone insurance. Before the damage occurred I planned to sell this phone not long after I bought it as I couldn't get used to it. Then it got damaged so I didn't sell.
Anyway My replacement recently arrived and I'm still considering selling it. Am I doing anything wrong by selling this brand new replacement on to someone so soon after I've received it? My wife said not to sell it straight away as it could look dubious. Surely, this is mine to do what I want with, just like the previous damaged handset i sent back was.
I noticed that a card from carphonewarehouse warehouse was included stating that there was a 12 month warranty on the replacement phone, and that the handset has automatically been re registered to my original phone insurance. Does this make a difference if I decide to sell?
Please advise.
Thanks

It's your phone, you can do with it what you please.0

You may of course re-sell the handset; as long as you are not profiting from the claim (i.e., keeping both handsets and selling 1) then you are in the clear.
Note well that the 12-month Carphone Warehouse warranty may not be transferable if you decide to sell.0
