Parking Tocket

Okay I might of been rather silly & buried my head in the sand.
I have been getting letters from a parking firm forget their exact name now but they represent Vehicle Control Services Ltd & also from their Solicitors Wright Hassall & today one from bwlegal .
Regarding a ticket that I have not paid...I didn't see a ticket on my card I had parked on the car park at the back of Lloyds whilst going to get an on screen balance, thought nothing of it as it was 6pm at night & after all I have been a customer of Lloyds for a good 20 years +
Well obviously not so Lloyds customers can't park there out of hours to use the cash machine...as I found out a month or so later.
I've had some rather unpleasant letter threatening me with court action & if I don't pay this could effect my creditworthiness & employability...as I was parking without displaying a valid ticket / permit (there is no ticket machine on this carpark & as far as I was aware I didn't need a permit to use my banks cash machine out of hours - who's space was I taking up or in the way of??)
I might add this branch of Lloyds has now closed down - It is in Penwortham, Lancashire.
I have wrote several letters explaining that I parked there out of banking hours just to use the cash machine for viewing my account balance as yet I have had no reply to any of these letters just the bog standard letter off the firms...
The balance due is £100 PCN charge plus their clients initial legal costs of £54.00
Can anyone offer advise or had anything similar??

Probably over a hundred BW Legal cases, all the same, will be in your results when you search this board for 'BW Legal'. Same goes for pepipoo forum which is littered with the repetition of how to respond - we can hardly move for BW Legal letters:

If you get a claim then it's defendable and your searches will find cases with claims too. We have not seen BW Legal win yet but it is a huge shame you've told VCS who was driving. Your defence will have nothing to do with protesting what you were doing or being a Lloyds customer.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
