I need help with a parking ticket

19/08/2016 I parked in my boyfriends parking bay while I unpacked shopping and went to the loo. A short time later I moved my car around the corner, I did not see a parking ticket on my vehicle.
I received a letter in September from Parking Collection Services on behalf of Parking Ticketing Ltd asking for £120 parking fine as I had ignored the parking ticket and 1st letter, both of which I did NOT receive.
I went on their website and looked at pictures of my car and they had stuck the ticket on the drivers wing mirror!!
No wonder it was not there and is this even legal?
I appealed via their online appeal service and explained that
1, I did not get the ticket.
2, I did not get the 1st letter they say they sent.
3, I've been ticketed before so would not have been in his space long enough to receive a ticket.

This car park is for residents only, there are no visitor spaces and there is nowhere else to park!
I have been ticketed by the same people for being on an outside road with a restriction between 1-2pm. I was parked at 3.30pm and still they ticketed me!!

I have a screen shot taken from their website showing the ticket on my wing mirror even though they managed to photograph my whole vehicle.

I have now received a letter without any mention of my appeal stating that I have to pay £120..

WHAT SHOULD I DO???
Please do not use abbreviations in your reply as I do not understand them.

Thank you in advance for any help provided.

It appears you have not read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES yet, so you should start there. Print off Post 2 as it explains abbreviations and acronyms. The regulars don't have the time or energy to type everything out long hand.

It is not a fine, it is a speculative invoice.

Unfortunately you have given away a valuable appeal point by revealing the driver's details. That can't be helped now. In your rejection letter did you get a PoPLA code? If so, you need to generate a PoPLA appeal. If not, complain to the BPA and DVLA about this.

You need to start reading the NEWBIES and do it several times until things start to make sense.

What happened when you complained to the landowner? What does your boyfriend's lease/tenancy agreement say about parking and permits? This will trump anything a parking company produces.
