PPI on Principles Charge Card?

Just discovered some old statements for a store card for Principles and was amazed to find a 'premium to protect payments'. It is only a matter of pence but I wondered if I could claim mis-selling for this? The card was issued by GE Capital Bank. I've always turned down PPI in the past so don't know how this managed to escape me!

You can't "claim miss-selling" just because you had PPI, you need to complain that it was miss-sold and explain why, Santander seem to deal with a lot of the complaints, if not them try New Day

If it was a few pence don't expect loads back :)

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

  • Hi, not too sure when you account ran from, but I had a complaint and it was at some point administered through Ikano Bank. I went through them for part of the complaint and then went through Santander for the other peiod that was covered by them and GE. Hope this helps.
