Famous Reg numbers.

A fuel price thread mentioned a reg number and i popped a few in a search to see how many of my old cars were running and one site showed commonly searched plates and COM1C was showing which i remembered as being Jimmy Tarbuck
So i clicked that an and either hes sold it or fallen onto hard times a 6 year old 1600cc petrol Mercedes C180 (estate)?
Or is that his winter hack?
Plate must be worth more than the car? Anyone know other famous plates that are on unusual cars?
EDIT: MAG1C (Paul Daniels) attached to a 1995 ISUZU Trooper Diesel with 158k miles at its last MOT.
