Mightydeals / ultimo electronics - ignoring calls and emails about refund!

Saw a deal on mightydeals for a supposed class A refurbished samsung soundbar and wireless sub. When it arrived it was a piece of junk and definitely not class A refurbished.
The packaging was in terrible condition and looks like it had been kicked or thrown around. When I opened it up I inspected the soundbar and it is in terrible condition, very dusty with lots of marks and the cloth covering the speaker is frayed and torn. The sub-woofer despite being wrapped in about 10 layers of bubblewrap was also in disgusting state. I was going to test if the items actually worked, but as there was no power adapter supplied this wasn't possible. Also missing were any instructions, the remote control, mounting kit and any other cables.
I emailed ultimo and informed them and they just replied saying we are sorry you are not happy with your purchase (no explanation or apology that it wont even work) and would you like an exchange or refund. After days of back and forth with emails (they would only reply once a day and never answer their phone) I eventually relented and agreed i would arrange to send it back, even though i felt they should collect it. They now have the item and are not replying to my emails and still not answering their phone. I have cc'd mighty deals into every email (which has been alot) and they have not once bothered to reply or even acknowledge what has happened! AVOID BOTH COMPANIES LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
Does anyone know what body to contact to help me get my money back? The price was £99.99 so I cant even get it back from credit card company!

Do a chargeback not a S75 claim?
Provide your card issuer with the postage proof and your money should be back fairly quickly.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
