PCM escalated to debt recovery

My partner received a PCM whilst parked on a private road where we live. We have followed the advice about not making contact and not paying. We have now received a letter from Trace debt recovery demanding £160, if this is not paid they will take legal action. My partner is worried about the possibility of receiving a CCJ what shall we do?:mad
