  • If you've only been in for a few months, are you absolutely certain you can't make it work? There must have been reasons you chose to buy the place to begin with?

    TBH the main reason I chose it was because it was what I could afford and I compromised a lot to get on the ladder. Probably too much as I'm now resenting those compromises.

    What is your alternative, will you go back into renting? Lots of compromises to be made there too, and your rent money is going into somebody else's pocket to subsidise their property purchase(s).

    Because you've only had the mortgage a few months. A lot of lenders might feel it was your intention the whole time to let the place and avoid a BTL mortgage.
