Hospital parking notice

Hi ive had a look through here because i was concerned about a parking charge notice i received when i tock my disabled mother to hospital for an appointment. The company is TPS. It states that i was in a free stay place allowed only 15mins. I didnt see this sign weather it was there or not. My mum has a blue disabled badge and i parked in a disabled bay so didnt expect a restricted time limit of 15 mins. My total time of stay was 78 mins well within a disabled persons normal allowance. This has caused my mum to worry and stress about paying for it but i was wondering if we do going by what some people are saying about the company on here. Please can anyone advise me asap so if we do have to pay we can get it for the lower rate. Kind regards Tammie

First of all, don't worry, and tell your Mum not to worry either. You are now among friends.
Do not consider paying anything, not even the "Mugs' discount." With or help you will have to pay nothing.
Please confirm the full name of the parking scammers as there are so many with similar sounding names and initials that it is important to know the precise details of the company involved.
Please read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES then appeal using the relevant template you will find there. Assuming TPS is Total Parking Solutions, this will be the BPA template in blue.
Copy and paste and send, don't edit it at all.
On no account reveal who was driving.
In addition you should complain to PALS at the hospital. Refer to yourself as the keeper of the car, and mention that an occupant was disabled and you expect this unfair ticket to be cancelled. You can also mention that Jeremy Hunt has told all hospitals that parking should be free at hospitals so why isn't it?
You should also complain to your MP and Mrs May. There is a campaign being run by the BMPA, and many of the regulars here. Look for a thread that begins "This demands a new thread - Theresa May" and read the last few posts to find the links to a letter of complaint you can use.I married my cousin. You do not want to be looking to pay anything, let alone the lower rate.
As advised, contact PALS urgently and set out what happened. PALS can step in and get NHS Trusts to instruct these charges to be cancelled.
Re TPS, appeal but not saying all of the above and NOT saying who was driving. As Fruitcake as told you, the appeal to use for the parking firm, is the BPA template in blue in the NEWBIES thread (there is only one in blue...). Copy and paste and send/submit, don't edit it at all and if you do this online only call yourself 'registered keeper (doing the appeal in the same name as the recipient/addressee of TPS' letter).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
